Today we were talking about collective action in my political science class, and my professor kept abbrieviating it as "CA" and I thought of the canadian alliance here.

Hooray for William Shatner!
Talking about philosophy for some reason reminds me of PWEB.

Sonic commercials advertising limeade. I still think the CA's is better.

Ducks remind me of Jan and Janelle.
Penguins, The Little Prince, and Harry Potter remind me of Fred.
Firefly, anything St. Patricks'/Irish pride reminds me of Paul.
Cats and cheese remind me of Kimmie.

maybe not all so random.
hearing about Rice or anything Texas-related reminds me of Kimmie.
limeade, of course.
when i see someone pick up a pencil for someone else, i think of noodle.
canada. because i don't really know anyone from canada except for people here.
burt's bees lip balm reminds me of nomi.
when i read OSC's books now i think of the people who have that character's name as their screenname here, especially Luet, Young Val, and Petra.
gosh, there are so many, but i can't think of anymore right now.

People talking about any of the states that pwebbers are from remind me of pwebbers.
Thinking about certain parts of my high school career reminds me of a variety of pwebbers because they were so integral.
Otherwise, I'm not sure that any one thing reminds me of any one person all the time. But several times a day I get reminded of someone from here. Elena, Catherine, John, Kelly, Nomi, Jani, Alea, Fris, Josh, etc.

I'm totally with you on that one. I was re-reading EG recently and I got to parts with Valentine and Petra, and got more sentimental about the ones I know here then the ones in the book.
Limeade, Duckies, sometimes when I see the initials "LG" I think of Limegiver, Texas (Kim), Philly (ye olde Philly boys), New Zealand (Ratey)... so many more.

ok so this may not fit the discussion exactly. but the other day i saw a kid walking alone through the bookstore i was also walking through. no biggy. later i saw him in the sci-fi/fantasy section. he looked awefully interested in the genre. anyway. the long and short of it is that i asked him if he'd read ender's game. when he said no. i pulled a copy off the shelf and mentioned that he should read it. i left the section and later i saw him buying a copy. it was pretty kool.
anyway. i thought to myself "man, someday that kid could be posting on pweb!"

Jebus = Paul and Caspian = Paul. You make Paul #3...I'll have to be careful with just saying Paul. In the quote there, I was speaking of Jeebsy.

Everytime I hear the name "Jesus," I think "Jebus." That's completely messed up since I'm a regular churchgoer. (Though the joke really belongs to The Simpsons.)

intresting, ive known those guys (at least by face, from this site) for years, but i never knew that...
Paul seems like a fairly uncommon name, so its strange for me to have so many other Pauls around.

the album "here" by idina menzel reminds my of Nomi every time i listen to it, since she's the one who purchased it for me. (thank you, again, because i really do adore it). and birkenstocks, cause she and have discussed their comfort at length.
texas, cats, and emmy rossum always remind me of kimmie.
breakfast at tiffany's, even before i read it, always always makes me think of kirsten.
the word "carpet" makes me think of john.
franny and zooey, and 8 million other things make me think of janelle.
there are more, but i'm getting sleepy. suffice it to say, i think of good ol' pweb fairly often.

All the Canadian Alliance stuff of course...and the old Calvinball Alliances in general...
Kittens, cheese, Waco, and ninjas remind me of Kimmie...
Eagles and Bucs games remind me of Craig and arguing with him endlessly...
Zoos have new meaning and I'm reminded of the Pweb Chat and anyone who took part in that conversation...
I know two roommates that are named Val and Nicole and that made me smile...
Leperchauns, goats and Ireland are all Jebus...
When anyone mentions Insomnia, I think of Hunter...
I think of Squiggles whenever someone mentions a form of that word...
Alabama and anything band remind me of Chibi...
mmm...I know I have more...just can't think right now...

Some years ago I think Vol did put stuff on cafepress that had a lime in the middle of a maple leaf and said "Got limes?" and then in small letters underneath "Canadian Alliance" and the pweb address. I have one if you want to see a pic.

PWeb's own He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named was a Paul.
And Caspian can be the Paul when he turns up more often, until then he's Caspian, Casp, C-man or my favourite: that guy with the hobbes avatar.
I am the official Paul.

Like everyone else, anything to do with limes reminds me of pweb. Also anything to do with Canada.
I have tons of things that remind me of pweb and the people, only gonna name a few though.
Tumbleweeds remind me of Josh.
Disney movies and Sex and the City remind me of Alea.
The game Truth or Dare reminds me of Jasmine and Denny.
Pie, Pint size, and penguins remind me of Nick.
Fashion magazines remind me of The Nic.
Anything cat related reminds me of Kimmie.
I also think of pwebbers whenever anyone mentions a state where I know one lives.

Rubber duckies and the color red remind me of Jani.
Cats and Gilmore Girls remind me of Kimmie.
Star Wars and 87's remind me of Alea.
Anyone asking for food reminds me of John.
Penguins remind me of Fred.
Sheep and anything Irish remind me of Jebus.
There's probably more, but that's all I can think of at the moment.
