If you're still up for it, yes please. As soon as I get settled (gimme about a week), I can help with...whatever I can help with. I unfortunately won't have my books on hand (fixing that as soon as possible) but I will have access to some thanks to the library, plus I'll have access to comics.

If we can get the old/international covers up, too, I think philoticweb did some basic summaries we might be able to use.

Timelines can go in and Chris is starting up a great community timeline effort, so I hope people help with that.

If you're interested, the Authorized Ender Companion hardcover is at a bargain rate of $7.46 at amazon - that's cheaper than both the Kindle and Paperback edition currently. I'm picking it up a) because I don't have it, and it may be helpful to se what's already officially been done, and b) I'm kind of named in it, like, twice.

Anyway, may be helpful for those wanting to contribute and double-check with what's already been done...

You'd have to go back to v2.8.5, I think, to make it work with MySQL 4.0.

I still have the zip file of that release, but I don't know how secure it is in comparison to 3.3.1.

ETA: Actually you can find all the old releases here. It looks like 2.8.6 still used MySQL 4.0 as well.

The database the forum uses is MySQL 4.1.24, which is not actually helpful.

Okay, email sent about MySQL. I'm unpacking tomorrow, so I'll probably not have a chance to check email again until Thursday at the earliest, but she didn't quite get us updates about the PHP, so maybe that doesn't matter. :)

I made 1,000 edits, realized nobody else was doing ANYTHING and found better things to do with my time. I'm glad to see it's still around, but I have no interest in pouring any effort over there. I wish you luck though.

Just a suggestion...maybe the "Article Database" forum should be merged into Milagre since

1) It isn't used anymore
2) Probably won't be used since we missed the Site ship
3) Just added another forum, making the index look a little bloated
4) Can always talk about those things in Pastwatch or have something somewhere else for people to make submissions if they want to

Threads moved to Milagre and unused boards removed. I added [Database] to the title of the content submission threads so they'd be easy to find should we revisit this idea again sometime in the future.

Also, I made Dave blue. I figure if he's going to be one of us again, he ought to look like one of us.
