Not really -I was inspired by an online recipe, but I don't measure anything. Olive oil - enough to cover the bottom of a.cereal bowl, couple teaspoons, I guess? Then mustard, juice of half a lemon, and enough sugar to calm the tartness a bit. And I added a little dill this last time. Taste and keep playing with ingredient balance till you like. Great with artichokes, apples, and meatloaf. Overwhelms salad.

You know what I love, you guys? Coffee. Coffee with cream in the morning. It's mostly about the flavour, it's partly about the ritual. Boiling the water, scooping the exact amount of grounds into my french press, waiting for the whistle of the kettle on the stove, pouring, pressing, and pouring that first steaming cup of coffee into my mug.
I cannot live without it and it's really, really, really good.

Just reread my post.
Gah! Not artichokes! Asparagus!
I confuse those two vegetables terribly when talking/writing. It's not even funny. This is what comes of growing up green veggie free.

Eating apples, cinnamon, cranberries with sorghum on top. Tastes like Christmas!

So, I don't know if I've mentioned this, but that's my all-time favorite apple. And they're incredibly hard to find around here.Honeycrisp apples
I found some this weekend (for the first time in months!) and bought several.

I love pumpkin season! I've made pumpkin soup and I'm planning on pumpkin muffins and pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving this weekend.

Honeycrisp are my absolute favorite, and we get a ton of them around here! The only problem is they're about $2.99 a pound right now. It's crazy when one apple is almost two dollers! So, I don't know if I've mentioned this, but that's my all-time favorite apple. And they're incredibly hard to find around here.Honeycrisp apples

Honey Crisps are priced at $1.99/lb this week. (That's way more than I like to pay for apples!) These apples were HUGE! I couldn't believe how big they were. Bigger than softballs, really.

I weep for the fact that I the cheapest apples I can find are at least $2/lb. Produce is so effing expensive here.Honey Crisps are priced at $1.99/lb this week. (That's way more than I like to pay for apples!)

That's how it is back home. I love being at school in Utah just because produce is half the price.I weep for the fact that I the cheapest apples I can find are at least $2/lb. I don't think I've ever had a honey crisp apple. Clearly I should remedy that.

Around here, it's usually around $1/pound for most types of apples. But honeycrisps are always around $2.50-$3.00/pound (if I can find them at all). But they're so delicious. And huuuuge.

Yeah, even here in the great apple state of NY, honey crisps are usually double the price of other apples.

This mint hot cocoa was delicious. I was expecting to like it, what with low standards for all things chocolate, but man, this was great. Probably helped that I made it with milk and not water. mmmm
